Nach unserem Auftakt-Onlineforum am 27.11. hat die neue Steuerungsgruppe für den FRAUEN*MÄRZ 2025 getagt und erste Entscheidungen getroffen. Hier erfahrt ihr die zentralen Ergebnisse aus diesen Vorbereitungstreffen. Wer ein ausführliches Protokoll zum Online-Women*s Action-Forum am 27. 11. (33 Teilnehmer*innen aus der ganzen Steiermark) haben will, schreibt mir bitte ein Email direkt an info@0803.at – dies auch bei Fragen oder Interesse, an der Steuerungsgruppe oder auch offiziell am Bündnis via HP teilzunehmen.
Wir haben ein MOTTO für 2025:
Feminismus rettet die Welt!
Dieses Motto verstehen wir global und es macht deutlich, dass es feministische Ideen und Konzepte sind, die Antworten auf die großen Probleme der Gegenwart (Soziale Ungleichheiten, Teilhabe, Verteilung von Arbeit und Einkommen, Gewalt, Kriege, Klimakrise, Wirtschaft) haben, auch wenn sie so manchem unbequem erscheinen. Es wird spannend, die Frage „Warum rettet der Feminismus die Welt?“ in vielfältiger Form zu beantworten. Wir nehmen bei allen Unterschieden eine gemeinsame feministische Perspektive ein, intersektional, Land-und-Stadt-verbindend, inklusiv und generationenübergreifend. Dieses Motto ist ein Statement für gleiche Rechte, Selbstbestimmung und Solidarität. Es richtet sich gegen Diskriminierung, Gewalt, Rassismus und Homophobie. Wir verteidigen Ideen und Errungenschaften, die aus rechtsextremen und fundamentalistischen Richtungen angegriffen werden und engagieren uns miteinander für eine gerechte Zukunft.
Der CALL für Beiträge, Aktionen und Veranstaltungen zum steirischen FRAUEN*MÄRZ 2025 wird ab 1. Jänner 2025 offen sein, dazu folgen noch genaue Hinweise im nächsten Newsletter. Noch vor Weihnachten findet ihr alle Infos auf der Homepage www.0803.at. Ziel des CALLs ist wieder, ein vielfältiges und engagiertes Programm in der ganzen Steiermark anzuregen und auf die Beine zu stellen. Die breite Plattform des Bündnis 0803 dient der Verbreitung und Bewerbung. Der Call und die Programmierung sowie die finanzielle Abwicklung werden operativ durch den Verein Women*s Action Forum umgesetzt. Über verschiedene Kanäle kommunizieren wir einfach und mehrsprachig. Wir freuen uns auf eure Aktionen und Events und Antworten auf die Frage „Wie rettet Feminismus die Welt?“. An dieser Stelle erinnern wir daran, dass das einigen schon bekannte Format „Frauenbankerl“ sich wunderbar anbietet, um unkompliziert und niederschwellig Diskussionsraum zu schaffen.
Fix ist die DEMO, die am 8. März dem internationalen Frauen*tag 2025 um 15.00 h starten wird und fix ist die lange Nacht im Schauspielhaus in neuem Format. Dazu folgen im Laufe der nächsten Newsletter noch nähere Details. Bitte tragt euch und eure Freund*innen direkt auf der HP im Newsletter und in der Signalgruppe ein, wenn ihr ab sofort laufend informiert sein wollt.
PS: Wir müssen heuer darauf hinweisen, dass das Budget aufgrund der noch offenen Ressorzuständigkeiten in der künftigen blau-schwarzen Landesregierung und aufgrund des Spardrucks in den Gemeinden weitgehend ungeklärt ist und wir vorsichtig kalkulieren müssen. Bitte dies bei euren Überlegungen zu berücksichtigen. Wir bemühen uns um die Finanzierung so weit als möglich und es soll uns nicht davon abhalten, miteinadner laut und deutlich zu sein, denn die Zeiten erfordern es!

Following our kick-off online forum on November 27, the new steering group for FRAUEN*MÄRZ 2025 has met and made its first decisions. Here you can find out the main results of these preparatory meetings. We have a MOTTO for 2025:
Feminism saves the world!
We understand this motto globally and it makes it clear that it is feminist ideas and concepts that have answers to the major problems of the present (social inequalities, participation, distribution of work and income, violence, wars, climate crisis. economy), even if they seem uncomfortable to some. It will be exciting to answer the question “Why is feminism saving the world?” in a variety of ways. Despite all our differences, we are adopting a common feminist perspective that is intersectional, cross-country and cross-city, inclusive and cross-generational. This motto is a statement for equal rights, self-determination and solidarity. It is directed against discrimination, anti-feminism, violence, racism and queerphobia. We defend ideas and achievements that are under attack from right-wing extremist and fundamentalist movements and work together for a just future.
The CALL for contributions, actions and events for the Styrian FRAUEN*MÄRZ 2025 will be open from January 1, 2025, with detailed information to follow in the next newsletter. You will find all the information on the homepage www.0803.at before Christmas. The aim of the CALL is once again to stimulate and set up a diverse and committed program throughout Styria. The broad platform of Bündnis 0803 is used for dissemination and promotion. The call and programming as well as the financial processing are implemented operationally by the Women*s Action Forum association. We communicate simply and multilingually via various channels. We look forward to your actions and events and answers to the question “How does feminism save the world?”. At this point, we would like to remind you that the “Frauenbankerl” format, which is already familiar to some, is a wonderful way to create an uncomplicated and low-threshold discussion space.
The DEMO, which will start on March 8, International Women’s Day 2025 at 3 p.m., and the long night at the Schauspielhaus in a new format are fixed. More details will follow in the next newsletter. Please register yourself and your friends directly on the HP in the newsletter and in the signal group if you want to be kept informed from now on.
PS: This year we must point out that the budget is largely unclear due to the still unresolved departmental responsibilities in the future blue-black state government and due to the pressure to save money in the municipalities and that we have to calculate carefully. Please take this into account in your considerations. We are making every effort to secure funding as far as possible and this should not stop us from being loud and clear with each other, because the times demand it!
